Build Group Interviews Studies in Rally
With fall in full swing, we’re excited to roll out some fresh updates in Rally. Read on to see how you can schedule group interviews, recap our API, and add new options to screeners. Let’s take a look at what’s new this season! 🍁
Watch this 1 minute overview:
New Study Type: Group Interviews
Schedule focus groups, small group discussions, or in-person customer panels with our new study type, Group Interviews. To build a Group Interviews study, you will create custom time slots, which is what participants will be able to see and book when they view the scheduling link. Set a maximum limit of participants for each time slot.
Get a high-level glance at participants in each group, and view individual participant profiles.
How it works: 6 simple steps to your next group interview
1. Set up your study with Rally’s proprietary study builder.
Even Rally newbies can create and run group interviews with Rally’s guided study builder. Rally makes email outreach, screeners, scheduling, signing consent and setting up incentives an intuitive, step-by-step process.
2. Create your time slots.
Set as many custom time slots as you’d like, each with a maximum number of participants. Participants will select from the available time slot list when they book their group interview.
3. Customize your outreach.
Create custom, personalized, branded emails to invite, schedule, and remind participants about their upcoming group interview.
4. Recruit participants.
Use Rally’s advanced filtering and segmentation capabilities to select participants you want to invite to the study.
5. Make changes on the fly.
Create and delete time slots, add participants to a group interview manually, share any additional information with participants via email, cancel, and reschedule if needed.
6. Thank participants around the globe with incentives.
Send one-off or bulk incentives to participants in minutes. View incentive activity such as available funds by budget, claimed and unclaimed incentive amounts, number of incentives sent, and more.
Updates to Screener and Survey responses
Long form survey and screener responses
Give participants the option to submit long form text responses to screener and survey questions.
None of the above as a screener option
Add ‘none of the above’ as an option for screener responses. If you choose to randomize the screener options, ‘none of the above’ is anchored to the bottom.
API Recap
The Rally Developer API enables 2-way synchronization between your Rally databases and other company data warehouses and tools.
With the Developer API, your team can be confident that you are recruiting participants using the latest data, synced from these external sources. Build custom integrations to leverage user data that you already have, connect to your preferred tools, then watch as your panel updates in real-time – no extra work needed. Read more about our API here.
Are you a technical person? We know what you’re here for: visit our developer documentation to use Rally's API.
