Your Research stack just got a glow-up (thanks, Marvin!)

Our new Rally & Marvin integration automatically syncs participant records to Marvin, keeping your research panels fresh, your insights sharper, and your workflow smoother. Oh, and we threw in some other fun updates too, like merging duplicate records, new study permissions, and even more ways to keep your data clean.
Here's a quick video of what's new:
Power smarter insights with Rally 🤝 Marvin
Rally helps you talk to your users. Marvin helps you analyze what they say. Now, they work together.
Here’s what this integration does:
🧠 Richer data = smarter insights: Rally’s participant data (screener responses, integration data from Salesforce or Snowflake, panel-sign up forms, etc) enhances Marvin’s analysis.
🔬 Less admin work, more research: Marvin’s research panel stays current with Rally’s latest participant data automatically.
🥞 A best-in-class, modular research stack: Easily move from recruitment in Rally to analysis in Marvin.
Here's a quick video that shows how the integration works:
Merge People records
If a participant signs up for multiple studies with different email addresses, Rally now lets you merge their records into one. Simply choose which record takes precedence, preview the merged details, and keep your People table organized and accurate.

Change interview hosts at the last minute
Change the host of your interviews in just a few clicks. When you have an interview booked, select the 3 dots next to it and click "change host” - makes last minute host changes easy.

Disable Observer Room recordings
Enable your team to listen in on live interviews while protecting participant data policies by disabling recording storage. With this setting toggled on, Observer Rooms will still be available, but the recordings will not be stored.

More control over which studies your users have access to
We added new custom permissions for studies:
- “View studies” - See studies where you're listed as an owner
- “View all team studies” - See all studies within your team
Auto-assign a default role for new users
Select a custom role that new Rally users will automatically be assigned to when they log in for the first time.
💡 Pro tip: create a "Training" custom role with user permissions that allow Rally newbies to test out a few key workflows, but not edit or modify studies, populations, or templates, until they are ready for it.
